Leonard Model 87 9'6" 3/2 Dry Fly Salmon rod
The rod is described as a 6wt on the bag and tube but a line size down usually works best on these Orvis rods
The Magnum Opus is the most sought-after rod made by Kusse and it is said to have taken him 120 to 150 hours to make each one

Leonard Miramichi bamboo rod 8'6" 2/2 #7/8 7' Leonard Model 87 9'6" 3/2For sale here is arguably the best casting salmon rod the Leonard Co. ever built, the Miramichi Series. These rods were designed by Ted Simroe and cast unbelievably well. This one is the 8'6" 7 8wt 2 2 and is in quite nice condition. The grip is moderately soiled and I'm not sure but it may have had a varnish overcoat (questionable). Otherwise it is straight and tight in original bag and tube. What a rod for atlantic salmon! Price is $1500. 00 plus
